The South Shelby Cardinals won their first District Basketball Championship in 29 years Friday by defeating Palmyra. Cardinals Cruise Past Madison, Defeat Putnam
A house fire just before midnight Wednesday destroyed the home of Curtis Jackson. The fire was a total loss and resulted in minor injuries to one person who was in the home at the time of the fire. The Shelbina Fire Protection District and mutual aid from other agencies were on hand until 6:30 a.m. Thursday. Submitted Photo
House Fire Results in a Total Loss in Shelbina
The annual bus inspections by the Missouri State Highway Patrol took place at South Shelby High School on Tuesday. According to Transporation Director Curt Bowen, the District scored a 100 percent with the Patrol on the inspections. This is the fourth time in a row that the District has had a perfect scored on the inspections.
