The home of Aaron and Kristin Magruder located southwest of Lentner on Shelby 426 was destroyed by fire Monday morning.

A fire that occurred Monday morning destroyed the home of Aaron and Kristin Magruder, southwest of Lentner on Shelby 426.
According to the Shelbina Fire Protection District, fire fighters were dispatched to a structure fire at around 9:52 a.m.
No one was home at the time of the fire. A Shelbina Firefighter that was in the area spotted the smoke, and called 911, according to the report.
Upon arrival of the first fire engine, heavy smoke and flames were visible from most of the house and roof.
According to Assistant Chief Allan Wilt, the home was a total loss. Wilt said they don’t know the cause of the fire and probably never will. He said there was just too much destruction.
