Meredith O'Neal

South Shelby Sophomore Meredith O’Neal competed in the Class 2 District Cross Country Meet in Bowling Green on Saturday, October 29.
She ran a strong race against some tough competition. Her time of 21:30 was good enough for a 5th place finish, and a spot in next week’s Missouri Class 2 State Cross Country Meet.
The state meet will take place at Oak Hills Golf Center in Jefferson City on Saturday, November 5 at 11:10 a.m. This is nothing new for O’Neal who competed at state last year. This will be a return trip to the state meet for her. As a freshman, she qualified and finished 24th in the state in Class 2.
