The Shelbina City Council got an update on the two hazardous structures on the south side of East Walnut Street during Tuesday night’s regular Shelbina City Council meeting at the Shelbina City Hall.
   Hazardous Buildings
Shelbina City Superintendent Dennis Klusmeyer reported that he had received a bid for the demolition cost for the structures located at 111 and 113 East Walnut Street in Shelbina. The west building at 111 East Walnut started to give way on the southwest corner with the activity taking place just west of it. The new Hines Performance Parts facility is about to get underway and heavy machinery working the ground in the area may have caused the crumbling structures to shift and give a little.
